My house is already wired for my cable. Finally got furniture for living room and trying to hook up my tv and cable. I've spent an hour chatting, and 30 minutes on the phone. Was supposed to get a returned call 2 hours ago, but big surprise comcast hasn't called back. I've checked everything I know to check. Still getting status code 221. I've switched cables, boxes, checked connections, etc. what else can I do to get this working?????
If house is wired, and I got an additional dta from comcast, why won't it work?

what does "dui" stand for
What does - what looks like dui - stand for when I turn on my TV, the cable box goes on and the channel flashes and then it says dui, then goes back to the channel I wanted. - something like that.
I just want to know why it says dui then the channel. It didn't used to do it but today it started.

Turning off the Motorola HD-uDTA-M with remote
Hello. Does anyone know if you can manually turn off the Motorola HD-uDTA-M or is the box made to stay on unless you literally unplug it from the wall? Also can the remote power the reciever off? Thanks!

Excessive tiling and audio breaks for the past 4 - 5 days ???
We have reset all devices and confirmed tight connections - the pixilation occurs on HD and non-HD channls - it also propagates to recordings. The only option provided is to contact Xfininty to allow a 'Technician' to come out and look at it ?!?!
Not very pleased at this time - we'll see how this plays out.

No scheduled recordings, now no channels are working at all
First I have been unable to record scheduled recordings for a couple months now, they show that they are being recorded but are never actually recorded. Whatever channel is supposed to be recorded has the message "unavailable" until i cancel the recording then it is fine. Starting yesterday all channels are unavailable. The guide shows what it supposed to be on and my Internet is working. I have checked connections and reset the cable box. Problem still exists.

XR5 remote wont pair
For some reason, the XR5 remote will not pair with the X1 set-top box. I want to set it up so the remote is directly connected to the box so I can control the box without having to point the remote at it. Every time I try to set it up, the set up light flashes red and green and the option to type in the pair number never shows on the screen. Can this be fixed?

Today I received new remotes for DTA boxes. It seems that the new remotes still will not you access the guide on the DTA boxes. Is this correct.? They dis pair with the Tv's.

Cable box does work
My cable box freezes and will not change channels, sometimes it will not come on at all. It sometimes displays a 0 in the left side of the digital panel that displays the channel and time. it will also diplay a 0 infront of the time i.e 08:37.

remote codes for sound bar
I have a samsung soundbar with me TV. I cannot find the codes for pairing it with the xfinity remote. I went to the site for remotes but the drop down menu for manufacturers of sound bars is not functioning. Does anyone have the Samsiung soundbar codes for pairing

New Tivo Romio w/ Card not getting all channels
I a newbie so maybe I'm missing some sticky thread with info but I didn't find it in my searches so here goes.
I had a Tivo Series 2 with lifetime service for m-a-n-y years and recently upgraded. That meant out with the old analog output box + the Tivo to a new Tivo Roamio with an m-card. I went through the setup process and it all works I'm just not geting all my channels. I have just the starter package but I needs me my ESPN!
Suggestions? Do I just need to call Comcast or do i need to flash the card or something?

Programs that are recorded will not play back on the DVR. I have tow and neither will play back.

Motorola RNG200N Picture sound go in and out
I have a Motorola RNG200N box, brand new. I have a Pioneer Elite VSX-43 A\V Reciever and a new Samsung TV. My cable box is connected to my AV Reciever, via and HDMI cable. And HDMI cable is then connected to the TV via an HDMI cable. At times the picture and the sound go out and nothing displays, except to check my I puts on the tv. Why does the sounds go in and out, sometimes out for a while. I know I've read about HDMI not communicating, etc. could it be im using the HDMI cable supplied by Comcast? Any suggestions? I've tried switching inputs for which the cable box goes into the AV Reciever, and it didn't help much.
